Heather is a Certified Family Coach and practicing School Social Worker. She began working with AVA coaching in 2007. Heather obtained her master’s degree in social work from Saint Louis University in May of 2003. As part of her schooling she completed an 8 month internship at a counseling center, for children of divorce/ separation, called Kids in the Middle. While there she completed the Rainbows training and is now the Rainbows coordinator at her school. Prior to getting her master’s she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Missouri State, in 1996, and began working at a crisis intervention center until 1998. For the next four years she worked in regular foster care and then moved up into treatment foster care.
